Allison Williams is a writer and a senior editor at Seattle Met magazine, where she covers Pacific Northwest travel and outdoor experiences for the monthly publication. She earned her B.S. from Duke University, with studies at Oxford University and the Columbia Publishing Course at Columbia Journalism School. Allison attained a masters of fine arts degree in fiction writing at the University of Alaska Anchorage, where her thesis won the Jason Wenger Award for Literary Excellence.
After seven years of work at New York City magazines and newspapers, she returned to her native Northwest and now lives in Seattle.
